Whale and Dolphin watching

One of  Europe’s finest areas for watching marine wildlife including whales and Dolphins.    Catch one of the many boat trips from Gairloch or Badachro Harbours just a stone’s throw from the house.   The crystal clear seas around the coast provide a haven for a host of marine life.   You can visit the Shiant Islands or take a boat trip to spot Whales, dolphins, otters, white tailed eagles,  Puffins and more:

 Fishing

The area offers some of the best wild game fishing in Scotland.   You can fish for wild brown trout in the wilderness conditions offered by the areas countless hill lochs.   Loch Maree is also a popular fishing destination and there are 20 rivers with stocks of Atlantic Salmon.  Alternatively try your hand at sea fishing on a boat trip from the harbour.
